Richard Nussbaum has been an attorney at Stoll, Nussbaum & Polakov since 1975, and became a partner to Robert J. Stoll Jr. just a few years later. Mr. Nussbaum received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1968, and then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in June of 1971. Mr. Nussbaum was admitted to the California state bar to practice in all courts of the State in January of 1972, and duly admitted to practice in the Central Federal District Court in August of 1972.

Mr. Nussbaum's specialty and voluminous experience has been in the handling of the Workers' Compensation practice at Stoll, Nussbaum & Polakov for the last 45 years. His practice is devoted to the representation of injured workers, with a focus on obtaining the best possible results the law will provide to all of his individual clients no matter what type of background or employment the client has. Mr. Nussbaum's vigorous representation of injured workers has resulted in awards or settlements of over millions of dollars of benefits distributed to clients throughout their lifetimes. Mr. Nussbaum is a member of California Applicant's Attorney Association, Southern California Attorney's Association, and the California State Bar Association. Mr. Nussbaum has also received many awards and honors for his legal work including the Martindale Hubbell AV Rating, Super Lawyers of Southern California, Top Lawyers of Southern California, and the American Institute of Legal Counsel Selection.
